New York: The UN Security Council has allowed Hafiz Mohammad Saeed, the head of the banned Jamaat-ud-Dawa, to withdraw money from a bank account.
According to Indian media, three persons, including Hafiz Mohammad Saeed, have been requested in the Security Council that they are the sole sponsor of their families. I have problems so they should be allowed to withdraw money from their bank accounts for daily expenses.
No one objected to Hafiz Saeed's request to the UN, which the Security Council Committee approved, and allowed Hafiz Saeed, Haji Mohammad Ashraf and Zafar Iqbal to withdraw Rs 1.5 lakh a month from frozen accounts for basic needs. ۔
It should be noted that Hafiz Mohammad Saeed has been declared a global terrorist due to which his accounts are frozen and he is in jail in terror cases.
