Khulna Adnan, wife of 26-year-old Birmingham resident Azhar Salem, gave birth to a premature 23-week-old baby at a private hospital in Dubai before departing from the UK, but the hospital administration not only refused to deliver them without paying the bill. Also prevented infants from being weaker and more fragile.
The woman was expected to have a baby in the UK but was delayed in getting a visa and was taken to a private hospital in Dubai due to premature birth.
Reports suggest that the woman's baby was expected to be born in October, for which she had applied for a UK visa since March, but unlike her, a premature baby was born in Dubai.
The woman also has no insurance facility to pay the hospital bills, while her 14-ounce baby is in critical condition.
The British couple have launched online funding to save the baby's life and pay a bill of around 2 million euros.
